My name is Adrian Rendon. I was born in Southern California and grew up in the areas of Downey and Lynwood. Over time the space and cities around Los Angeles also became home, as we would go visit our cousins and relatives. My parents immigrated from a small village and migrated to different parts of the United States before setting in the area. The path to where we are now was one that had many obstacles, but over time we grew and supported each other. I owe a lot to my family for the courage a to immigrate and make a new life. As a Chicano, I also inhabit the space between Mexican and American cultures and have a lot to appreciate in both cultures.
